1. Do you ship?
Yes. We will ship anywhere in the US. We charge actual postage and a small handling fee to cover the time and materials spent for packaging and trip to PO or UPS.
2. What is the minimum amount of fabric I can buy?
We sell in 1/4 yd increments and up.
3. Do you cut Fat Quarters?
We cut fat quarters on request, if we are not too busy. We do not cut bolts into fat quarters.
4. I have a machine that I inherited from my grandmother, will it work for this class?
Most good quality machines that are in good conditions will work. However, not all machines will work out for each and every class. Please check with us before signing up for a class.
5. I work during the week. Why aren't you open on Sundays?
We like to spend Sundays with our families. So we have decided to close on Sundays. To make up for it, we will be happy to work with you by email or phone during the week to help you plan a project, or set up a custom class that works for your schedule.
6. Can you finish my quilt top?
Our expert, Roz Heller, has had over 18 years experience in quilting, and her award winning finishing service is superb . Our long arm machine can handle up to and including king sized quilts.
7. What does long arm service cost?
Long arm labor is charged by the per square inch. Standard quilting applies a single repeating pattern. Custom quilting is a bit more expensive. We can tailor the quilting pattern to various areas of the quilt. The price increases as the level of detail goes up.
8. Do you give a Quilt Guild discount?
Not at this time.
9. Can I get one on one help with my project.
Of course, just stop by anytime. We will help you problem solve. If you want a higher level of help to take on something new and challenging, you can design a custom class. All you need for a custom class is three students or you can make up the total class fee. Classes can start with pattern and material selection, and can be tailored to your schedule.
