IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN
SAN DIEGO'S PREMIER
QUILT-SHOP HOP IS MARCH 3 - 10
Each shop you visit enters you to win the shop prize worth $250. If you visit all locations you are entered to win one of three additional Grand Prizes; a $1,000 shopping spree, a $500 Shopping Spree, or a $250 Shopping Spree.
We have found that hard work pays off. We invest dozens of hours, meeting with representatives, and pour though their samples. We have found some gems. We have a new selection of fabrics that have rich and rare colors as well as many new fabrics with bold and rich patterns.
Here is another winter season idea from Annies. It is a small size, beautiful quilt with a snowy winter theme. This quilt combines blues and white in a creative way to achieve a lovely snowy night effect. Stop by and see the sample that we just put together.
Something to Look Forward to in the New Year; Build your own...
Un-feathered Star Quilt
We wanted to share one of the classes that we will be making available to you in the new year. We will be offering you a chance to make a very special quilt and get all the help you might need to achieve the very best outcome. This series of five classes will step through fabric selection, design and construction of each part of the project. Make this quilt using Marti Michell's tools and it will go much faster and you will get the quality you want for a family heirloom. We will be with you every step of the way. Individual mentoring and help with problem solving will be provided, of course.
Here are some CREATIVE Pattern Ideas FOR YOU.

Kaleidoscope tools are a constant source of entertainment for the team at Annie's. Its hard to image that this Star is hidden in this fabric that just arrived, but it is. The only way to find it is with Magic, or using the kaleidoscope prospecting tool.

quilting classes are our passion
THe best way to enjoy this craft is to find trick and shortcuts to improve quality and save time.
We are making plans for a new series of classes. We would like your input. Just navigate to our CLASSES section and then let us know which classes you are interested in and what times best fit your schedule.
As we factor in your requests, we will are post our updated calendar and summarize it below. We have selected some great new projects for our classes in the coming months.
QUILTING Class Policy:
Every participant must have their own pattern and their own tool set as required for the class project. No sharing. We find that sharing results in constant class interruptions. It also jeopardizes our trust relationship with our business partners and suppliers. And finally, it often violates copyright law. No refund or store credit will be given for cancellations made less than seven working days in advance.
Quilting Classes Coming Up
We are now featuring these cute, vintage gingerbread designs that will make either of them the focal point of your sewing room.
Olivia features a 2-position mechanism that will support a 45 pound machine and move your sewing machine into the flatbed and free arm positions. Pull the quick release lever forward to make your sewing well become flush with the top and use Olivia as a desk or another hobby table.
Olivia comes in fun vibrant pistachio green or a clean crisp white laminate.
If you would like a more compact sewing cabinet, consider Shirley. This sewing cabinet provides free-arm and flatbed sewing with an adjustable platform to accommodate different heights of machines. It has four drawers for plenty of storage locking casters.
The Perfect Sewing Machine
We highly recommend the Elna Star. Stop by for a demonstration. This machine is great for quilters at all levels. It is ligh an compact and easy to handle. Most importantly, it is smoooooth.
HERE ARE SOME FABRICS
THAT ARE PERFECT FOR KALEIDOSCOPE QUILT PROJECTS.
Come see for yourselves! These quilt fabrics are really special.
MACHINE REPAIRS BY SEW PROS
We have partnered with Sew Pros for sewing machine repairs. We offer drop off and pick up for our customers. Of course, we would like to discuss your problem and make sure it needs to see the doctor. Sew Pros has been in business for over 50 years. They have given Roz, Barb and many of Annie's customers, superior service on all of their machines. Whether you need basic service or something more involved, they do a great job on most makes and models. Just drop by with your machine and we do the rest.

As such, we are sought out frequently by new customers traveling from around the county and others while in the area on vacation. Unfortunately the GPS gods have not smiled on us. You can trust Google and Apple, but some of the smaller GPS companies still get it wrong.
