Long Arm Quilting
Yes, we finish your quilt tops.
For those of you that want the best possible looking quilt but are want to save a lot of time, we suggest that you let us expertly finish your quilt top.
When you have pieced your quilt top, it is time to talk to Roz. Roz Heller is our Long Arm Quilt Machine expert. She has been machine quilting for 18 years, and now has been working the past 10 years with a KenQuilt Long Arm machine. Roz has finished the tops for hundreds of local quilters. She has even quilted for such quilting notables as Jan Krentz. Roz does both pantograph (all over designs) and custom quilting. She excels in artistic, custom work, where all of the design is hand guided.
All of our shop samples have been quilted by Roz, and people often look closely at the quilts and ask to see the computer feature of the long arm machine. My response is always: "There is no computer, Roz is just THAT good!" Come look for yourselves, I think you'll agree. Please give us a call or follow this link for instructions on preparing your quilt for the long arm.
Pantograph quilting is charged by the square inch. This service varies in price with the complexity and the level of customization of the design you choose. When you submit a quilt for long arm service, you also need to select or supply thread, batting, and backing. While we have been asked to bind the occasional quilt as an extra service, this is typically up to you to do.
We also can finish antique quilt tops! If you have a completed quilt top from one of your older relatives, we can finish them to stabilized them and prevent damage. This Picture above shows an antique quilt that was hand-pieced.
