Quilt Market Discoveries
Say Yes to A Dress!
While running around the quilt market in Kansas City, Barb saw fabric designers showing off their new fabrics using little girl dresses.
Barb thought, “I can do that AND I have a new granddaughter”.
Roz and Barb found some really interesting new patterns for quilts and purses at market. They also found some new colors of cork for your purse projects.

A Classic Feathered Star
Using Paula Nadelstern
Christmas Fabrics. We will have a class this fall.
featuring NEW Tula Pink Fabrics!
Here is a sample that Barb recently created
using a new Janet Wicker Frisch pattern.
We have a very interesting pattern for origami style butterflies. You can make them in several different sizes. Barb went on a tear and made about 80 of them so they are all over the store. Stop by and see. The possibilities for these cute little add-ons are endless.
New Tool from Marti Michell Mariner's Compass
The design source for the Mariner's Compass is probably linked to the iconic compass symbol seen on navigational maps. A large proportion of antique quilts from the Atlantic Coast area made with this design. Now Marti Michell makes it so much easier to produce perfect compass stars with her new tool set. Is there a star in your future?
Coming soon, as a two day class.
Bargello Lone Star Quilt
A dramatic new piece by Roz at Annie's. This project is made using one of the great patterns in the new book, "Singular Stars"
by Judy Martin.

Quilting Classes Coming Up
QUILTING Class Policy:
Every participant must have their own pattern and their own tool set as required for the class project. No sharing. We find that sharing results in constant class interruptions. It also jeopardizes our trust relationship with our business partners and suppliers. And finally, it often violates copyright law. No refund or store credit will be given for cancellations made less than seven working days in advance.
The Perfect Sewing Machine
We highly recommend the Elna Star. Stop by for a demonstration. This machine is great for quilters at all levels. It is light an compact and easy to handle. Most importantly, it is smoooooth.
MACHINE REPAIRS BY SEW PROS
We have partnered with Sew Pros for sewing machine repairs. We offer drop off and pick up for our customers. Of course, we would like to discuss your problem and make sure it needs to see the doctor. Sew Pros has been in business for over 50 years. They have given Roz, Barb and many of Annie's customers, superior service on all of their machines. Whether you need basic service or something more involved, they do a great job on most makes and models. Just drop by with your machine and we do the rest.

As such, we are sought out frequently by new customers traveling from around the county and others while in the area on vacation. Unfortunately the GPS gods have not smiled on us. You can trust Google and Apple, but some of the smaller GPS companies still get it wrong. Please use our map or the Google map below or give us a call if you are having problems finding us the first time.
